I thought that the Paddlewheel was a pretty good place to play but they don't have enough bands playing there....

Nothing ever beat City Limits in Crevetucky back in the 80's for me. 2 stages. 8 hours. Madness.

Playing at TGIFridays is a great place. We had a great crowd and it is very clean and volume is down and only half the gear to put in there. Would be cool to use Pete's bose equipment........ The Straightline Band rocks TGIFridays

I'm out of the mix now ... but sang with American Pie for 7 years - miss it, but ready for something new -- anyway, my favorite places were The Stag (Havana) and Babe's (Havana). Everyone just made me feel so welcomed.

RPM's in Galesburg has a nice stage and the room sounds very toney. I liked it. The crowd was pretty receptive too. They seem to appreciate live music more than the Peoria crowd.
